Getting Things Done
FOR ALL PEOPLE
I have done a lot of research and I've created a lot of solutions. If you'd like to know more, please host a meeting with your friends, family, and neighbors. I'd love to meet you, hear your thoughts and concerns and share my thoughts, solutions, and vision. Please contact me here.

IMPROVE EDUCATION FOR ALL CHILDREN
“I love kids. I strongly believe children are our future. Children are born pure, loving, and vulnerable. We’re the ones who mold their thinking and are instrumental in the development of their character. It is up to us to ensure children receive a good education; as well as, the life skills needed to succeed regardless of the zip code they live in."
EXPAND ACCESS TO AFFORDABLE HEALTHCARE
"I know people who have forgone seeking healthcare because they couldn't afford it and they didn't have health insurance. It's sad to me that healthcare is such a big business in the US. People should not have to suffer or die because they can't afford healthcare. I will fight for everyone to be able to have access to affordable healthcare."
PROTECT ELECTIONS AND VOTER RIGHTS
"We must protect our democracy by protecting our elections from foreign and domestic interference. As Americans we have the freedom and right to choose our leaders. I will fight to protect our right to vote and have free and fair elections."
CREATE A SAFER AMERICA
"Physical safety, survival, is our utmost basic of all human needs. The rise in violence such as mass shootings, domestic terrorism, school shootings, domestic violence, police brutality, etc. compromise us all. I was surprised to hear only 9 states receive funding to combat domestic violence. I’ve spoken with several experts, and I’ve created a comprehensive plan to reduce violence in America. I’m excited to go to Washington and present my ideas that no one in Washington is discussing."
SUPPORT THE AFRICAN AMERICAN COMMUNITY
"As a black woman, I have experienced racism all throughout my life. The statement Black Lives Matter refers to the inequality African Americans experience compared to white people in everyday life. There is a huge discrepancy in how black people are hired, paid, and treated at work. Black people are more likely to be harassed when walking down the street and shopping. It’s no secret black people, especially black men, are more likely to be pulled over, arrested, and killed by police; in addition, they’re given tougher sentences and less likely to get paroled from prison. As a society, we must first acknowledge the disparity exists, so we can heal, unite as a society, and move forward. I have many ideas of things we can do to reduce racism and advance the African American community."
HELP SMALL BUSINESSES SUCCEED
"Everyone knows small business and manufacturers are the backbone of our economy. As a small business owner myself, I'm very aware of the challenges small business owners face. I will do everything I can to help small businesses, especially women and minority owned businesses, succeed."
FIGHT FOR AMERICAN WORKERS
"Ohio has experienced numerous shutdowns, layoffs, and job losses. I’m committed to increase jobs and wages. I support unions and their fight to protect workers and their rights. I will support our factories and manufacturers by fighting for fair trade, so they can continue to provide jobs and help communities thrive."
I STAND WITH THE LGBTQIA COMMUNITY
"Most of us want similar things: a home, a family, safe communities. A place where people who work hard and meet their responsibilities have the chance to get ahead. But some politicians exploit divisions and fears among us so they can get and hold onto power, denying us the basic rights, resources, and respect all people deserve. By standing together we can rewrite the rules to ensure that all people, including those who are members of the LGBTQIA community, have a fair opportunity to provide for themselves and their families, live free from discrimination, and build a better life without fear."
ADVOCATE FOR AGRICULTURAL AND RURAL COMMUNITIES
"I come from a family of farmers, so I know the blood, sweat, and tears that goes into farming. Ohio farmers have struggled for far too long. I will
fight to ensure farmers are protected and equipped to succeed by dismantling the monopolies in the ag industry ie: suppliers and meat packers. I will address the policies including the water crisis and immigration crisis that is negatively affecting farmers and their workforce. I will make it easier for farmers to go green. I will also make strides to improve farming sustainability and protect future farmers of America"
I SUPPORT LAW ENFORCEMENT
"I have friends who are police officers. I’m thankful for all who put their lives on the line every day to protect us. I also appreciate the sacrifice their family members make to support them. I know it’s not quite the same, but I know what it feels like to be the wife of someone who puts their life in danger in service to our country. Police officers are extraordinary people. I believe most of them are good, but they are people and we all know, not all people have good intentions, some are bad apples. Therefore, I believe we need to hold wrongdoers accountable. Like many Americans, watching the death of George Floyd shook me to my core. Being who I am, I decided to go through the Delaware Citizen's Police Academy. I am now the President of the Delaware Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association. I learned a lot; including, close to 80% of police calls are not even police related, but they're all we have, especially after hours. Police officers are our first responders. I see areas that are working well and areas that need improvement across the country. As a result, I devised a new bill that supports the police and citizens so everyone goes home safe. I believe we need to support law enforcement with people (social workers and mental health professionals), increase training, and the resources they need, so they can do their job effectively. I also volunteer to help our law enforcement."
ADVOCATE FOR VETERANS & MILITARY
"My ex-husband is a veteran and I have many friends and family members who are veterans. I've lived the military life. I know how heartbreaking it is to wonder if your loved one is dead or alive. I'm also well aware of the mental and physical health challenges our veterans struggle with, let alone the distance they have to travel to receive healthcare. I will be a strong advocate for our military members, their families, and especially our veterans."
COMBAT THE OPIOID CRISIS
"I know people who suffer from opioid addiction. Some people have struggled with addition their whole life. Others became addicts from pharmaceutical use. Some say the border crisis is to blame for the opioid crisis, but the truth is, addiction is the issue. I believe our best way to combat the opioid crisis is to help addicts heal. Rehab centers and foster care organizations are overwhelmed and overflowing. Addiction not only affects the addict, but also their family, friends, work, and community. We must combat addiction to truly solve the opioid crisis."
ADVOCATE FOR THE DISABLED COMMUNITY
"I have disabled family members and friends. Some of them are able to work and some of them are not able to work. I understand their dependency on family, community, and government assistance. None of them are disabled to fault of their own and none of them take pride in needing help. I believe, as a society, we must help those who cannot help themselves, it's just the right thing to do. I will always fight to protect the quality of life for the disabled."
MAKE COLLEGE AFFORDABLE
"People who wish to seek higher education should have the ability to do so, and not go in debt for decades well after they graduate. People in other countries can earn a masters degree for $1500. People in the US spend closer to $100,000. The average American cannot afford a 6 figure education. A college education needs to be more affordable to advance the US as a country to keep us a competitive world leader. We all do better when we all do better."
COMMON-SENSE SAFETY MEASURES
and SUPPORT 2ND AMENDMENT
"I support the 2nd Amendment. I grew up shooting guns with my cousins and my uncles, who are hunters. However, I also believe in common-sense safety measures. My aunt was killed via domestic violence. She was shot point blank with a 12 gauge shotgun. Her restraining order, a piece of paper, did not save her life. So, from my life experience, I see both sides of this heated debate.
Everyone wants and needs to feel safe in their home and community. Over 39,000 people die from gun violence every year-that’s over a 100 a day! We can do better. We need to talk about common-sense gun laws. We need to look at some of the key issues like the purchasing process, mental health screening, criminal background checks, black market guns, socio-economic inequality to name a few. We need to have common-sense solutions, that will save lives, that no one in Washington is addressing in a meaningful way.”
FIGHT FOR SENIORS
"I love and care for all people and especially our seniors. My parents are seniors. My mom has cancer and one of her medications is over $5,000 a month, that's ridiculous. I was very close to my grandma. She lived in a senior home at the end of her life. Luckily, she was in a good and clean facility; however, I know not all facilities are as nice as the one she lived in. Our seniors deserve Medicare, Social Security, and affordable prescription drugs I will always fight to protect and improve the quality of life for our seniors."
LOVE & RESPECT FOR ALL OHIOANS
"I love and care for ALL people. Being biracial, I have been through a lot in my life, so I have an enormous amount of patience, empathy, and understanding for people. I've helped thousands of people transform their lives personally and professionally, so I am very aware of the most pressing issues facing Ohioans and how to resolve them. As a society, we're only as strong as our weakest link. Unfortunately, we have too many weak links. We all do better when we all do better. We have a lot of work to do and I'm ready. I have many ideas that will improve the lives of all Americans and I can't wait to put them in action."
ADDRESS CLIMATE CHANGE & PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT
"We must address the climate crisis and protect our environment as they are directly related to our health, agriculture, and food supply. None of us want a Flint Michigan water crisis in Ohio or anywhere else in the country. Everyone deserves clean water. Our bodies are made of 50-70% water. Years ago, my uncle contracted polio from contaminated water. Our children should be able to safely play in water in our backyards. I know several people who lived in proximity to a power plant that died of cancer. Breathing clean air is just a human right as well. I will combat the climate crisis and take necessary steps to protect our environment to ensure we have clean air, energy, and water."
FIGHT FOR FAIR TAXES FOR ALL
"I was surprised to discover Amazon made $33 million per hour during COVID in 2020, yet millions of Americans were losing jobs and going hungry. I'm a single mother and small business owner. I'm sure you're as infuriated as I am that we pay taxes and corporations like Amazon doesn't. My heart breaks when I think of all the suffering in our country. Child hunger and homelessness rates are extremely high. I will do everything I can to make sure everyone pays their fair share."
